Flashback Friday: A SlideShow

I made this Slideshow of Kaia a few years back when I had (& used) a Myspace Page.
(Remember Myspace) Before Facebook, before Twitter, before I was really into blogging.
I just came across it the other day & fell in love all over again. These photos are some of my favorite of her at that age. (8-10 months)
Where has the time gone? Really. It's F.L.Y.I.N.G by...

You can make your own slide show over at SLIDE.COM.
It's fun & super easy. And as you can see... totally adorable!

So Fresh and So Clean

Fresh out of the bath. Nice and relaxed. All warm and cozy.
Wrapped up in a towel like my little burrito baby.
Serious. Shy. Studying. Silly. Sad. Smiling.
From Zero to Sixty in in 6 seconds flat... in 6 photos.
She's definitely a female, all the way!

Wordless Wednesday: Close Up

Happy Wordless Wednesday!

During the week, I don't get to spend much time with my girl. As a full time working mom (in the entertainment industry) I leave early and come home late. So during the weekends I love spending my time just being with her. Sitting next to her on the couch, talking, laughing, playing. I grab my camera & try to take as many shots as possible, and for me the closer the better. Kids grow up so fast and every time I turn around, she looks a little more like a kid, and a little less like a baby. It's definitely bittersweet, but everything as a parent seems to be...

Hipstamatic: My New Fav iPhone Photograpy App

Do you have an iPhone? Do you take photos with your iPhone? Do you hate the quality of the photos? And finally, do you end of trashing half of them because they just look crappy?
Well I've found (Thanks Riley) the App that is gonna change your life! Not like winning the lottery change your life... but like you will be really, really happy with the way your iPhone photos look like from now on!

Say hello to my little friend: HIPSTAMATIC

It will change your prospective. I find myself looking around places saying, will that look cool once the Hipstamatic casts it's magic spell on it? It's like they took all of the cool settings about photoshop and preset them for you. Right there at your fingertips. Just for you. Photographer or not, you will love this thing. You will wow your friends. I am actually proud of the pictures I've been taking with my iPhone. (I've never been able to say that, and I'm a photographer)

It's by far the BEST $1.99 I've spent on any iPhone App.

If you are still unsure of the greatness that is Hipstamatic, just look at these pictures that I have taken in the past few days of purchasing this little gem. I have not changed these photos in any way. I just clicked and downloaded. Hipstamatic does all of the work. It's my new photographer's secret, that I am sharing with the sexy people who read my blog, because I am fresh like that... You're Welcome. ; )

Disclaimer: I was not paid or compensated in any way for this blog.
I just fell in love with the product and wanted to share. That is all.

I Heart Faces: Smirk

The i heart faces challenge this week is: SMIRK
Sometimes I struggle with the weekly themes, but this one was easy.
My youngest is "Queen of the Smirks." (as you can plainly see)

Play Ball!

Spring for our family is filled with many things...
One of the main ones is BASEBALL!!
Opening Day, Batting Practices, Sunflower Seeds, Spring Training, One..Two..Three.. Strikes Your Out, etc.
We spend countless hours every spring at the baseball field. Much like how every fall you will find us on the football field.

Sometimes we get a little, you could say, restless. Time for a Photo Challenge!!

After seeing THIS POST...
That was inspired by THIS PERSON...

I thought I'd give the old Duet Photography thing a try. To spice up our time spent at the Chatsworth Junior Baseball League.

These first two shots are by my step-daughter. (Age: 11)

These last two were shot by me. (Age: Old)

All of this is what happens...
WHEN YOU GIVE A GIRL A CAMERA.

*I know that I am supposed to post them as a diptych (two photographs paired together) & side-by-side...
But I don't have that part down just yet, bare with me! : )
