The August Break

August Break: Off to the Pool

AUGUST BREAK: My daughter on her way to water play at preschool. A great way to beat the summer heat, and a great photo opportunity.

Disney Pixar Cars Online Event

LADIES AND GENTLE CARS,

Last week we actually got to Meet Lightning McQueen in person.

(I know, I know, I was freaking out too!)

Hang with Cheech Marin (voice of RAMONE) & Jennifer Lewis (voice of FLO)

All while eating Bob's Big Boy Burgers! And their World Famous Fudge Cakes!

Check Out the 50s Diner that they set up outside, in the Car hop area.

We walked down the Red CARpet with a bunch of celebrities including Joey Lawrence. (my childhood crush)

Tori Spelling was there too. Her family is very cute!

Bob's Big Boy in Burbank had a make-over! Check out what they did to the place!

We were greeted by Lightning McQueen himself - KA-CHOW!

Along with his friends Mater & Sally.

There were stations for the kids to play with all things CARS. Which was a real treat. My daughter is obsessed with all pixar movies. I mean a FANATIC. Like she knows all of the lines from these movies, so coming to an event like this was beyond a dream come true for her.

And anything Disney does, they do it better than anyone can.

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

GLOWFEST 2010

As the sun goes down at Disney California Adventure Park the Ultimate Summer Street Party comes alive.

If you have not had the chance to be a part of this GLOWtastic event there is only about a month left (Until Aug 29), so do your inner teenager a favor & GO-GO-GO to GLOWFEST!

The best way that I can describe it is it feels like Spring Break in Cancun.

They serve adult beverages like the “GLOWtini” & the “GLOWjito” of which I highly recommend BOTH! They come with a special glowing ice cube, that makes your drink light up! So Freakin’ Cool.

But it’s not just for adults, the kids LOVE it too! Check out Kaia & her Best Friend Mya getting CRAZY @ GLOWFEST!

People are dancing in the street, including the Go-Go Dancers on the Platforms. Disney characters & Movies scenes are blasted in large screens.

Everyone sings along to the music being spun by a DJ, playing Black Eyed Peas, Selena Gomez & the Glee Cast to name a few.

It goes on every Summer Nightastic in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot until the Park Closes. It is a PARTY unlike anything you have ever experienced at Disneyland before.
